Remember the Kid

...with the eyelashes? Yeah, here he is again. Sheesh, how would it be?

Yep, still smiling. It's almost as if he never stops.

My Little Baker

... is nine years old. I don't remembering being as adventurous as she is when I was that age.

Maybe she'll grow up to be a pastry chef. I sure hope so, because I missed that boat and someone in the family ought to get good at something like that.

And here's the boy that will smile at anyone, anytime. Already such a ladies' man. Sigh.

Have a nice week!

Now Presenting...

my favorite superstar. I like to call this one 007:

Saturday started out a rainy, yucky day, but turned out to be the perfect day for a photo shoot.

So we hit up the Red Butte Gardens for a little modeling activity.

Didn't I have the cutest model ever?

Show me the muscles!

He was such a good sport, even when he had to sit next to a girl...ewwww!

"Who me?!"

But despite how cute the last few pictures were, this one shows his personality best, I think!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

It's a Little Late

but I still had fun playing with these photos of Christmas. It came and went so fast, just like always.

Below is what happens when you let your brother play with your camera. All sorts of weird pictures of yourself!
And here is my adorable nephew who likes to feed cars to dogs...

Hope everyone had a nice holiday.

P.S.
This dog is very useful...her back doubles as a racetrack for small ones.

Meet My New Friend

...an awfully dusty friend, but a good one nonetheless.

That's what you get for choosing black. Isn't she lovely?

And this is what boredom looks like...

All Hallows Eve

...was so much fun to plan and decorate for. I've decided that Halloween is my 2nd favorite holiday...okay maybe a tie with the 4th of July. But seriously, how often do you get an excuse to be silly, decorate with fake spider webs, and play dress up in a socially acceptable way?

Not only that, other people willingly do it with you! Please note the victims below. I even learned the Thriller dance!
Now I have skills.
And I was sooo happy to see my friends who came from such a long distance! You guys rock!
I loved the black lights and the way they floressed my spider webs. The next morning I saw I was not the only one impressed with my handiwork: a real spider had decided to make himself at home in the neon green web! Fooled him--ha!

I'm Famous

...okay, maybe not, but recently one of my photos from my Antique Magnifique post in late September was used as the subject for this lovely rendering by my new-found blogging buddy, Maria. Check out her blog, Point of My View, HERE. Hopefully it's okay that I repost it for all to enjoy:

I love it Maria. I also loved seeing your progress on this piece. Would that I had the painting talent!

I Think I Can

This is a display at the public library for the Utah Food Bank, I believe. And yes, that hat is made completely of cans.
How cool is that?

Oh Summer, How I Miss Thee...

I will miss your flowers...
And your fresh produce...

And your sunshine...

Please come back soon!

The View

...was amazing.
I still want to go inside the City & County Building. P.S. We weren't the only ones taking pictures with this building, but I was most definitely the amateur.
Close up of one of the creepy faces on the building facade.
I didn't take this one, but my camera did. :)
Old library...
New library.

I didn't take this one either, but I wish I had. I like it a lot.

Dark and Light

Well, perhaps not too dark, but darker anyway.
